Bella Pop Photography Social Shoot

This past weekend, I spent a few hours in Fort Worth with Brandy & Brandon Frank of Bella Pop Photography, as well as several other photographers, for a fun photo shoot. We got to work with a model, the lovely Merry, whom you might remember from this blog as Kitty's human from the Woof and Meow Pet Photo Contest.

I need to improve my people-posing skills, so that when/if I do shoot any portraits, I can help that person rock the camera. I got a lot of ideas and techniques during the Social Shoot, and it was a ton of fun in spite of the sweltering temperatures. We cooled off and had dinner at Central Market's Cafe on the Run. Yum!

Here are some photos I took of Merry. Gorgeous!

  1. Awesome, they look great! I remember the balancing act required for you to make the last image.

  3. Hahaha! Yes, balancing on that post 3 ft off the ground was good times! Sacrificing my safety for the sake of art. ;-)
